Where do they meet?
Through the hard work of generations of Hope’s members, we are blessed to be able to meet in a wonderful facility, located at the center of old Crisman.
Three times our members have worked to put up new walls. The first church building no longer stands, but it’s foundation is still visible just to the east of the present building. We hope to turn that shady little parcel into a memorial garden for the past generations who so generously contributed to the work.
The new building was constructed in two parts. The Sanctuary (the church part) was build in 1957, while the Education Wing was constructed in the 70’s. If you have the opportunity to come on a Sunday morning, make sure to take a look at the marvelous stained glass in the church. The windows above the altar feature Jesus as the Good Shepherd flanked by the Word and the Sacrament. The round window visible from the road serves as Hope’s logo and is the reminder of the baptismal font where God grants even the little children saving faith and the forgiveness of sins.
