What about Sunday School?

Sunday School is a great opportunity for the children to learn about the Savior and to socialize in a caring environment. Hope Lutheran Sunday School is fully staffed. The children are divided into groups based primarily on their grade level, but we are sensitive to the individual needs of the children.

Pastor Lepak's services and the Sunday School lessons are often coordinated, so that parents and their children can talk about the day’s lessons together. The lessons follow the church calendar beginning with Advent in the first week of December. A calendar of Sunday School activities and lessons is made available at the end of each summer.

We encourage families to sign their children up as soon as possible each August, January and June. Early registration helps Hope to get the appropriate supplies as soon as possible. If you would like to register a child for Sunday School, please call the church office at 219-762-7635.

Hope Lutheran Church is striving to meet the spiritual needs of today’s families. Our congregation is comprised of sincere, involved Christians who are convinced that the Bible is the absolutely true Word of God. We are committed to Biblical teaching and Christian living, believing that God alone offers salvation, guidance, and healing through His Word. That is why Hope uses the Bible in its worship, instruction, and counseling. We invite you to come and hear about Jesus’ plan for your life.
