Are there other churches like Hope?

Hope Lutheran Church is a member congregation of a larger church body called the Evangelical Lutheran Synod (ELS). The ELS and the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod (WELS) teach the same things from the Bible, and are therefore said to be in fellowship. Hope’s members enjoy fellowship with the many ELS and WELS congregations throughout the United States and the world.

The ELS is divided into “circuits.” Hope is in Circuit 4 with St. Timothy Lutheran in Lombard, Illinois; Grace Lutheran in Hobart, Indiana; and Good Shepherd Lutheran in Avon, Indiana. Hope participates and shares in activities with local Wisconsin Synod churches as well.

Hope Lutheran Church is striving to meet the spiritual needs of today’s families. Our congregation is comprised of sincere, involved Christians who are convinced that the Bible is the absolutely true Word of God. We are committed to Biblical teaching and Christian living, believing that God alone offers salvation, guidance, and healing through His Word. That is why Hope uses the Bible in its worship, instruction, and counseling. We invite you to come and hear about Jesus’ plan for your life.
