Regarding worship we believe that…
… worship should properly distinguish law and gospel, not confuse the two.
… worship should be centered on Christ and His work for us, not on us.
… worship should build the Church with sound biblical theology, not with emotion-producing stunts and gimmicks.
… worship should meet our needs which God tells us in His Word, not the perceived needs which our sinful hearts determine.
… worship should be consistent with the tried and tested practice of the generations of saints who have gone before us, not on the whims of culture.
… worship should aim to feed faith, not our feelings.
… the purpose of worship should be, primarily, God’s service of love and forgiveness to us and, secondarily, our praise to Him, not primarily of our praise to Him.
